Governments and regulatory agencies have long sought to unlock the full potential of their subsurface data through National Data Repositories (NDRs). Yet too often, NDR projects stumble—mired in delays, budget overruns, and systems that fall short of stakeholder expectations. Why? Because the focus has been on technology instead of service.

This webinar invites energy sector leaders, policy makers, and data professionals to explore a new paradigm: building NDRs that are grounded in data services from day one. Through real-world case studies and practical insights, we will examine how a services-led approach can dramatically enhance accessibility, regulatory oversight, and investment readiness. We will discuss how modular service models can adapt to a country’s specific institutional structure and stakeholder needs—be it promotion, preservation, or both.
Join us as we unpack why successful NDRs are not built with software as the starting point—but with services as the foundation.
