Patrick Meroney has worked in and around Information Management in Exploration and Production for over 30 years and has written and presented on various topics over the years including GIS, Information Architecture and Delivery, Data Governance and Organizational Readiness.

Pat has held various positions in the E&P business and within IT and IM organizations at ConocoPhillips, and Repsol and is currently the Vice President North American Operations at Katalyst Data Management.

Sue is a Senior Data Management professional and front line people leader in the technology domain, with 25 plus years of energy experience. Recognized as a digital innovator, she continuously improves processes by challenging the status quo, creating tangible value by aligning people and processes with technology. A big picture thinker, her career has been spent supporting the adoption of Digital Transformation, Data Management and Data Governance in large organizations. Sue’s skills and knowledge include a combination of Data Management expertise, strong IT Leadership, an in depth understanding of the energy business with a unique ability to identify and play to skill sets across the team.

Trish Mulder Director of Business Development for SeismicZone.com at Katalyst Data Management: a seismic data expert with over 20 years of experience in data and asset management at both E&P and service companies. Trish has extensive knowledge within the Acquisition and Divestiture environment and a strong vision for the future of data transactions, entitlements and compliance.

Jess Kozman has been a professional data management practitioner since the early 1980’s, specializing in digital data for the resource industry. His roles have included exploration geophysics, IT management, and consulting for national and international petroleum and minerals organizations, government agencies, and service providers. Jess maintains professional qualifications in earth sciences, data quality, and project management. He is currently based in Perth and collaborates on digital transformation in the energy and resource sector.

Dale Blue is a seasoned expert in the oil and gas data management industry, with over 35 years of experience. He currently serves as a Principal Consultant at Katalyst DM, where he focuses on helping the company expand its National Data Repository (NDR) and Corporate Data Management offerings.

Dale’s career began in 1989 with Tape Technology in Dallas, and over the years, he has held key roles at industry-leading organizations, including CGG, SLB, and Halliburton. Most recently, he led Halliburton’s global data management practice, where he played a pivotal role in advancing solutions for National Data Repositories. Throughout his career, Dale has worked with major industry standards such as POSC Epicenter, PPDM, and OSDU, contributing to the growth and evolution of data management practices across the sector.

In addition to his extensive professional background, Dale has had a truly global career, having lived and worked in over 30 countries worldwide.

Martyn Budd is a data management and analytics professional with over 25 years’ experience in the energy sector, specializing in subsurface data governance, quality assurance, and system integration. Having led major projects for BP, Shell, Maersk Oil, and Chevron, Martyn combines deep technical expertise with a pragmatic, user-focused approach. His work has consistently improved data quality, streamlined workflows, and built trust between technical teams and business stakeholders. He joins Katalyst as Principle Consultant in our UK operations.
